The Premier League's 20 SLOWEST players: Giroud & Fabregas make the top five — Olivier Giroud is the fifth slowest player in the Premier League, according to Opta’s data. (Getty Images)

Olivier Giroud and Cesc Fabregas are among the Premier League’s slowest players this season.

Data provided by Opta has revealed the top speed each player has reached during a league game this term, and has thrown up some surprising results.

Manchester United’s Memphis Depay makes the cut, as does Bournemouth’s speedy winger Max Gradel.
